a few days ago i hoped on my bike to ride it only to find it wont strt. i hear the starter doing something but nothing else is happening. this kinda explains why it was cheap but the question is do i need a new starter?

@badlink1122 first of all the price probably had its own backstory and now you're just unraveling it but before jumping to conclusions about the starter have you checked the battery's condition and connections because it could just be a case of low power or a loose wire rather than the starter itself needing a replacement start small and rule things out or you'll end up spending more time than the bike does on the road.

could be a loose wire or battery's empty? if i were you i would check that first before buying anything. or have a mechanic take a look at it for you. saves you time and money

Theres like a ton of possible reasons or causes why it wont start my friend, you dont wanna blame the starter right away especially considering the cost lol better to have it checked first by your local dealer or maybe a friend.

@badlink1122 yh, it can be there's something wrong with the starter. but it can also bcs the battery's weak (even dead), or maybe the wiring. anyway, I'm curious, please update us about this!
