Went on a cruise at around 70mph on the way to an 7 day camping trip then my bike jsut suddenly shut off, no warning, no power, just flashing lights. Pulled over, tried all the usual switches, but nada. I disconnected the battery for a bit to reset the ECU while i made a few calls. Time when I reconnected it, the starter worked, and the bike fired right up like normal. Rode back home to grab my scan tool and only found a random misfire code. Cleared it, headed back out, and made it to camp with no issues. That quick roadside reset saved me from a tow. Did i dodge any bullet here or what? Cant stop thinking ever since

You definitely dodged a bullet, sudden shutdowns at speed are no joke. That roadside ECU reset was clutch, it is worth checking connectors, grounds, and ECU health to prevent a repeat

Great that you found the misfire code. I'd keep an eye on the codes for a while to see if it misfires again.
