Well technically it runs, for a few seconds. I start the bike it runs and sound great for a few seconds and then it dies. I can do this millions of times and it will start without skipping a beat and will shit off. Since it starts I'm thinking fuel issue, but where do I start poking?

Yeah, probably something fuel related, so pump, regulator, filter or injector, but it's too broad to give a recommendation. Try this, start the bike and once you notice it starts to die give it some gas and see what happens.

I experienced something kind of like that with an old CB I got. It would start up, run for just three seconds, and then stall. I found out it was a clogged fuel line near the tank outlet. A quick clean-up fixed it, and it ran like a dream. It definitely sounds like a fuel issue with yours as well
