Fuel pump emergency

I've been dealing with a weird issue with my fuel pump. At first, I thought it was just normal cold start problems, but after several tries, the bike wouldn't start at all. I recharged the battery, but still nothing. I could hear the starter turning but the engine wouldn't fire up.
I figured it might be fuel-related, so I tried a few cold start troubleshooting methods. I even swapped in a new lithium battery, which helped the starter turn faster, but the bike still wouldn't start, sometimes I'd hear a strange noise, and other times, the fuel pump would run, but the engine wouldn't catch.
Eventually, I tried tapping the fuel pump with a hammer, and suddenly, the bike started right up. Now, this is the only way I can get it to start, so I'm planning to replace the fuel pump.
Since my bike is out of warranty, an OEM fuel pump is expensive, but I found some aftermarket options on Aliexpress . Has anyone tried one of these? Are they reliable, or should I stick with OEM?

For me , I alerady bought stuff from Aliexpress . In case some stuff isn't a good fit for you , I just want to share that they have this 75-day buyer protection moneyback guarantee . I got a wrong size I dunno why because I got for the 2021 and it arrived as the 2020 . But that was for my other bike . So there's the chance of that . But yeah , don't worry about that in the BMW becaise the same starter motor part nummers apply to all years 2016 to 2023 . From the looks of it , th Aliexpress looks widely the same as the BMW .

Aliexpress is a good choice. As @blackmirrorisreal said, they have moneyback guarantee if something is not okay or it hasn't arrived at all. Meaning, there's nothing to lose. It just takes a bit more time to arrive.

If you need it right away then go for the OEM if they're available. also if you're getting OEM, you are assured that the part is meant for your g310r. Otherwise, Aliexpress will be a good option

How do you purchase from aliexpress?

The fuel pump seems like the possible problem, but I would also check the spark plug. If you can smeel fuel but the bike doesn't start the plug could be the culprit

Man, that hammer tap trick indicates that the fuel pump is sticking, which is a classic sign of failure. Ali's aftermarket pumps are not always reliable. While some people deal with noise or early death, others are fortunaet. Use a well-known name, such as KEMSO, if you choose that path. If you want to keep it dependable without going over budget, I would personaly look for a good used OEM one
