fuel pump issue. help~

my g31or won't start anymore and im hoping for some help. i can't hear the fuel pump and it turns over but doesn't fire up, and fuse #1 blows right away. i think it might be a fuel pump or delivery issue. has anyone dealt with this before? any tips on what to do?

Well , have you checked the connection of the fuel pump power feed and frame , and the fuse 1 , and the frame ? Do check if the wire has current . Otherwise , you might be looking at a short circuit . so do some checks and find the contact point. before you can isolate thte wire .

That's a total bummer! did. you see any damaged wires? u also need to make sure that the plugs and wires are plugged in correctly. Check them all and hope u dont need to replaced your pump. Best of luck!

I think it's best to contact a mechanic, it sounds like a fuel pump or wiring issue, but we can only assume what's the problem. A professional can tell you what really the problem is.

Honestly, you've probably seen the same replies, check wiring near the tank, look for melted spots, test the pump off the bike and so on, wish you luck
