I've been working on cars a lot and I have the tools I need for that, but this is my first time planning to work on aa bike, so I was wondering what tools will I need? Specifically, would I need something specialized or it's all pretty standard? I'm asking about a 2018 BMW G310R.

You'll mostly need standard tools like metric sockets, Allen keys, and a torque wrench, but you'll also want a T50 Torx bit, chain maintenance tools, and a service manual

Well I do have the standard tools, so that part is covered, along with the service manual. What about the chain maintenance tools? What are they and are they sold in kits like get a full set of everything I'd need for chain maintenance?

just to add to what @Ducks1 suggested, the bike def uses a lot of torx and allen fasteners so definitely get a good set of those, preferably in a socket style for your ratchet. for specialized tools, you'll need an oil filter wrench that should be size-specific for the g310r filter. for basic chain cleaning and lubing, all you need is a chain brush, some chain cleaner spray, and chain lube.. you can find these sold individually or in a kit. for tension adjustment, you'll need the correct spanners and a torque wrench to set the axle nut properly but i'm not 100% sure on that bike's axle nut size so best to check your manual! it would also be helpful to get a paddock stand or a rear stand for chain maintenance and tire work.
