Spoked wheels upgrade

I recently swapped my cast wheels for spoked ones from a 2004 F650GS, after using cast wheels for nearly two years, this small change has improved my off-road handling significantly. On the road I also notice less impact from tarmac imperfections, holes, and bumps.

yeah dude, spoked wheels are def popular for off-road riding because the flexibility allows to absorb the impact better than cast wheels!

Yeah the suspension improvement was awesome, and pairing it with the spoked wheels has really enhanced my off-road experience

Exactly, the added flexibility of spoked wheels really makes a difference in handling rough terrain...it's been a noticeable upgrade for me

That sounds perfect! Try it with a high mounted exhaust, that would be really sick on off roads.

Everything you guys said is true and I agree, but no one mentioned the biggest drawback. The softer, if I may call it that, rim means the handling is sloppy and not as precise. I'm not hating on people who go for spoke wheels, I'm just putting this out there in case someone wants to do the switch and knows that it's not perfect.
