I've been contemplating getting an aftermarket air filter for my bike and I'm curious if it'll really make a difference in performance. I've come across a variety of opinions, some folks claim it enhances airflow and power, while others argue it isn't a good investment.Has anyone here actually felt a noticaeble change after switching to an aftermarket filter?I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences

Depends on the bike, and depends on the part's quality, but some notice a slight throttle response boost

I swapped to an aftermarket filter a while back and noticed a slight improvement in throttle response, maybe a bit smoother airflow, but nothing dramatic. It's more about peace of mind for some people or future proofing if you're planning other mods, make sure it fits well and you keep it clean.

If you're going for an aftermarket option, make sure you're willing to let go of being all stock. I get a lot of people are more about the OEM because they're guaranteed and there's an accountability for the company. But yeah, up to you.

Yeah, I've heard all the same different opinions about aftermarket air filters. some people swear by them for a performance boost and others say it's not worth it.

I haven't personally made the jump to an aftermarket filter yet myself, so I'm really curious to hear from others too! are you thinking about a specific brand of filter or just a general high flow type?

companies make some bold claims about hp gains and everything we want to hear, but apart from a more responsive throttle and a bit more intake noise, these filders don't do anything else.
