Spark plug causing for the engine to jam?

Hang on tight, this is quite a story.

So I've had 2021 G310R for just a few months, I was having the time of my life, no issues at all! But one day, while on a ride, there was this weird noise and suddenly the rear wheel locked up and the engine died! I was still seated upright so I guess I'm lucky? but it was scary as f.

Brought it to the service center as I should and was advised it's the battery. then they said, it might be the engine so they need to open it up. Gave them the green light then after opening it up, they advised that it's the spark plug??

Im confused. shouldn't they have checked the spark plug first? Could a plug really cause the engine to jam like that? I need clarity and a glass of wine, please. Anyone else ran into something like this?

Wow, that's a terrifying failure and the service center's initial battery diagnosis just doesn't add up. And yes, a plug can absolutely grenade a motor if the ground electrode or the ceramic insulator breaks off. That loose metal will stop a piston in its tracks almost instantly but did the dealer actually show you the broken plug or explain exactly how it failed?

Lol, a bad plug might cause misfiring or no start, sure but not locking up the engine, that's a stretch, it could be coincidence, or they're missing or who knows, intentionally avoiding the real issue, maybe visit another dealer or somn
