Such an inconvenience today. My right side mirror almost hit the car behind me lol thankfully it didn't shatter and instead flew into a pavement. Imagine how much it would have cost if I'd have paid for a broken windshield. I cannot find a way to tighten it somehow. Has anyone had the same issue? What's your secret to effin keeping it in place?

Ah, the misery of modern plastic parts… I've had that happen once, cold morning, tight turn, and off it went like it had given up on life. If yours keeps loosening, chances are the internal clips or the pivot tension is worn out, and sadly, not much you can do besides replacing the mirror assembly or diving into it to shim and epoxy the pivot. I wish there were a cleaner fix, but these things aren't made to last lol....just another quiet defeat in the life of car ownership.

i think you just gotta replace it. as the @Boss Lady said, it could be that the internal clips were damaged already
