My G310R is at 11k miles and kept up with routine oil changes and chain care. Do you recommend any specific upgrades or replacements to keep it running smoothly past the 12k mile mark?

You might need to replace a few things like your air filter and spark plugs. possible upgrades might include the brake pads also. you can consult your manual as well for these things. Hope this helps!

The manual will definitely be my guide. Appreciate the helpful tips! 🫸

Do the valve clearance check which is due at 12k miles. And then do replace what needs be replaced like @unfazed cloud explained here. If you can also consider switching to lithium batt if not already to save weight and have cold starts.

Got the 12k mi service done including the valve check and the air/spark plug replacements. Decided to hold off on the lithium battery for now but good looking out for the suggestion!

When you hit 12k miles, it's a good idea to check the valves, change the spark plug, and swap out the air filter and fork oil. If it's been a while, fresh brake fluid is also a smart move. I did it all around that time, and it really helped. While you're at it, take a look at the chain and sprockets too

Just wanting to keep her running sweet for the long haul. Good to know yours is trouble free with basic care. @LemmonDou

That is a super helpful list of things to check around 12k miles. Thanks a lot for that rundown. Gives me a good checklist to keep in mind when that service interval hits. @TheGeneral
