Bike won't start

A few weeks ago I broke the key in the ignition, I'm stupid, don't ask. I ordered a new new set with key and everything, replaced it and now the bike won't start. What am I missing?

Most likely the new key isn't synced with the bike's immobilizer system. Usually the key's chip needs to be coded to the ECU. Without that, it won't start even if the key turns.

Nah, you're fine. it happens! agree with @onesizefitsall_80 there. Did the new set come with a coded key or ECU module?

You'll probably need to go to a dealer or a locksmith who has the right programming gear to sync the new key with your bike's security system.
