This is my own personal experience guys. my biggest beef with the BMW G310 is the camshaft bearing cap.

Over 30k miles, this bike has seriously impressed me. I was skeptical about a $5000 bike and TVS, like most Americans.

Now, I'm a TVS fan now, this bike's been surprisingly reliable even with daily high RPM runs.

But that camshaft bearing cap? Major disappointment. Total letdown.

Anyone agree with me here?

Well for me it's a powerful machine overall, but BMW really dropped the ball on that one piece. I feel like it's such an avoidable weak link in an otherwise perfect bike.

A known weak point, and I hate that the head is designed in a way that the caps aren't replaceable, otherwise it would be a relatively easy fix. Proper care and some prayers to keep it running without any issues.
