adding a second fan worth it

my 310's been running pretty hot lately. i push it harder than most and in stop-and-go traffic i've seen the temp hit 245 before i had to kill the engine. cools down quick once i'm moving but still kinda worrying. today i'm wiring up a manual fan switch but was thinking... anyone tried running a dual fan setup on this bike? the stock fan's honestly weak.
i feel like i could rig a bracket to mount two fans but not sure if there's enough space with the coolant hoses in the way. seen people do this on the duke 390 but never on a 310.
anyone pulled this off before or got tips?

Well , that' s a little high for a perfectly working G 310 R . I just want to ask you if you have done a routien check if there are faulty components ? Surely , the second fan would be of great help , but if you' re gonna tinker with the wirings you might do something wrong if it is a direct connection that will worsen the status of your G 310 R ? Before you do anything can you kindly consult a dealer but if you are confident with it , then I do not see why not ?

my 2 cents on this is that you might wanna go for an aftermarket radiator and fan. yeah the manual switch will work but youre not solving a problem youre just easing the symptoms

I haven't seen anyone specifically do a dual fan setup on the G310 R, but it's definitely an interesting idea since, like you mentioned, the stock fan can be weak. Mounting two fans might be tricky with the coolant hoses in the way, but it's possible with some creativity in designing a custom bracket. If you're confident in your fabrication skills, you could make it work, would love to see feedback

before you start making plans for custom motifications and whatnot i'd say to check out some aftermarket radiators some which are advertised as better flowing and better cooling

Indeed, the 310's stock fan is a little weak, particularly when stopping and starting. It's a good idea to add a manual fan switch

Two fans? It's feasible, but space and coolant hoses make it challenging. It might be simpler and equally effective to upgrade to a beefier single fan

If you choose dual, careful routing and custom brackets are to be expected
