The shift shaft spring of my 2017 G310 R broke, and I've been told BMW doesn't sell the spring separately so I have to buy the entire shift shaft assembly. Is this true? To make matters worse, there's no available stock everywhere I looked. They said soonest availability can be 3 months. That's such a long wait!! So I'm thinking there should be a workaround, right? Does anyone know if other bikes use similar or identical spring? Anywhere else I should check??

if I were you, I'd be tempted to find that kind of spring on Amazon hehe

Unfortunatley, you have to get the entire shift shaft assembly instead. I went through the same thing when mine broke. I found a used assembly on eBay, which worked out. If you're up for it, you could try finding a similar spring from another bike, especialy if you have calipers and some time to spare. It might also be a good idea to ask around at a local machine shop
