I heard a story about a guy who crashed previously but his Garmin InReach Satellite saved him. I got a Mini 2 the same day because I was worried it would happen to me. Then it did. Surprise. Actually no surprise I went into a dusty trail at Caprock and had zero visibility because of the dust accumulating on my helmet so I crashed. Really, the Garmin helped a lot. I highly recommend it.

Wow, that's a real testament to having a satellite communicator. It just goes to show you, better safe than sorry when you're out on the trails.

Man, that's rough but I'm glad you're okay! Dusty trails come really unexpectedly. Props to Garmin for coming through when you needed it. You inspired me to buy my own. You got any affiliate link I can use?
